An Open Note To My Fabulous Roomie Ben: (Written, in part, to perhaps elicit some sort of comment from him, as he is one of the silent readers)
Dear Ben,
I truly am very thankful and appreciative of you unloading the dishwasher so frequently. However, if possible, can you please do me the biggest favor ever and abide by my following plea: For the love of Jesus, if the following items are present on any of the dishes that come out of the washer after one full cycle, please refrain from putting them in the cabinets:
-Crusted scrambled egg remnants
-Overly apparent bright red stains that suspiciously resemble Lou's stewed tomatoes
-Anything stringy and green and on the spatulas
-Large chunks of poultry on the knives
-Lipstick/lip gloss marks on the glasses
B, you're a gem, but please try practicing a technique that I myself swear by. If you find any of the above on our supposedly clean dishes, just skip over them and leave them in the washer for one more cycle. There's certainly no pre-rinsing or washing dishes by hand allowed in our apartment, so just give the dishwasher one more shot at it.
Sincerely,
Your Adoring Roommate
P.S. Sorry about that smelly poop.
